Quick Baby Card

I have a bunch of friends that recently had babies or are having babies soon. A good friend just had a baby last week so I quickly made a card on my gypsy using Wild Card. Here it is! I just love this one and the envelope to go with it.

PKS Challenge

Here's another Halloween card using some of the figures I cut out last night from the Paper Doll Dress UP cartridge. I just love these! Isn't my spider so scary? He even scared a ghost! This card is for the current Peachy Keen challenge. I think it's my favorite Halloween creation so far!

Quick Treat Bag

Wood Letters

For my daughter's 3rd birthday my good friend Nancy made a beautiful wood "A" letter for her. I thought it was such a cool, fun idea that I decided to try out a few for myself. They are a really fun gift idea and I love giving away handmade gifts so this is perfect for me! They are not too hard and not too time consuming and you can totally make them with the child in mind. Here is one I made for Carter to hang outside his door.

He is such a boy and loves all things that "roll" including trains so I thought this would be perfect for him now. The best part is that since it's just paper, I can always change it later to fit his appropriate age.
Here's another one I made last year to hang on the door for Halloween.
Aren't these so fun? Email me if you would like directions on how to make for yourself.

October Calendar Page

This month I decided to make my October calendar page similar to what I did last month with the apple only substitute a pumpkin. I had many different variations and finally settled on this one. I designed most of it using my gypsy, however the Vampire font was from a cartridge that I borrowed and had to cut out the old fashioned way. I forgot how hard it is to cut out font without your gypsy, LOL! Trying to figure out where the correct key was on the keypad was hard! I made it through and ended up loving the title. I had a bunch of little pumpkins cut out with cute little faces but they just overcrowded the page so I left them out. Now I need to make something using them as they are just too cute!

Supplies Used:
Paper: Stampin UP! Basic Black, Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, and Crumb Cake. (the yellow was from my scrap basket
Ink: Stampin UP! Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate chip on the outside of the pumpkin and stem
Designer Calendar, Happy Hauntings, and Pumpkin Carving Cricut Cartridges

You're a Hoot!

Today I was in a creative mood and hopefully I can get a lot scrapbooking done tonight. I am so excited to do it when the kids go to bed. Right now Carter is napping and Ava is playing so I snuck in a card for the My Pink Stamper challenge and also to submit it for the Thowback Thursday challenge as well. I am really into my new owl punch and thought I would use this as it's a "bird" challenge over at MPS. I thought it came out kinda cute with my two little owl's checkin' out their goofy friend. We all have one of those right??

Supplies Used:
Stamps: MPS Punny-licious, PKS Critter faces
Ink: Stampin UP! Basic Black, Rich Razzleberry
Paper: Stampin UP! Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, and So Saffron. The polka dot paper is Stampin UP! retired DSP
Punch: Stampin UP! Two-Step Owl Punch
Ribbon: Stampin UP! Rich Razzleberry Grosgrain ribbon

Vinyl signs for the kids doors

Tonight I created two signs for the kids doors, no stamping involved! I have been wanting to create something for the house using my Cricut and some vinyl for a while now. I bought some pink vinyl a few months ago then I bought some brown and finally some transfer tape to help me transfer the vinyl from the mat to the wall. For some reason I think I was intimidated by the whole process. Finally tonight I decided to do it! I pulled out my gypsy and designed a Princess crown for my daughter, Ava, from Once Upon a Princess, it came out sooo cute and I know she is going to love it in the morning when she sees it!Not to leave my son, Carter, out I quickly designed this one using brown vinyl and the train from New Arrival. The C is from Mini Monograms.
I am in love with these. Now, where else can I put vinyl....?

Getting into the Halloween Spirit

The Halloween bug has hit me big time this year! With all the talk out there in the blogging world about Halloween paper, stamps, etc. it's hard not to. While I was driving today (yes I think about crafting while driving) I remembered there was a really cute pumpkin card on the Cricut Wild Card cartridge so I whipped it out as soon as I could and created this on my gypsy. I love how it came out. Happy (early) Halloween!
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Stampin UP! Jumble Alphabet and Teeny Tiny Wishes. Peachy Keen Pumpkin Face Parts
Ink: Stampin UP! Basic Black
Paper: Stampin UP! Pumpkin Pie, Yoyo Yellow (retired), and Green Galore (retired)
the ribbon I picked up in a dollar bin last year

September Calendar Page

Since it's back to school time in September for us this year I thought it would be fun to do a back to school theme for my calendar page. I make one of these each month and hang it on the fridge. It's a great way for me to remember what happened that month while I'm scrapbooking it. My daughter and I spent an hour or so this morning putting this page together and I thought it came out so adorable (isn't that worm cute!?) that I had to share. This is yet another reason why I love my gypsy as I designed it all last night and cut it out this morning.

I love this little worm!

Supplies used:
Create a Critter, Paper Dolls, and Designer Calendar Cartridges
Paper: All Stampin UP! colors used. Email for a specific color!
Ink: Stampin UP! Basic Black for the face, book, Real Red around the apple and Pear Pizzazz around the leaves
