Teresa Collins Class

I was lucky enough to meet my crafting "hero" this past week!  It was such an honor to be able to be in a class taught by Teresa Collins. She is my all time favorite designer.  I just love the way she mixes in color with black and white designs and how her designs are always timeless.  She also loves to use big bold flowers which is something I adore!
I have been looking forward to this class since I signed up back in February and the last few weeks I kept calling to make sure I was on the list and didn't need to pay anything to keep my name on there.  Teresa was just a sweetheart and exactly like she is in her blog!  I here she will be back to teach another class next year and I am SO IN!
This photo was taken with my iPhone at the class, the book she is holding is actually the book we made in class, it is gorgeous!
In a few weeks I will be doing a cartridge showcase for Cooking with Cricut featuring the Teresa Collins Baby Boutique Cricut Imagine cartridge.  It is one of my favorites!  Hope you will stop by to see all the things this one can do!

CWC Challenge #95 Buttons & Brads

Hi everyone!  Welcome to another Cooking with Cricut Challenge!  I cannot BELIEVE it has been so long since I last posted!!  It's been a little crazy around here since my last posting.  I spent a week on heaven the lake with my Mom at her house only to come home to NO air conditioning!! That week we had two record hot days over 100 and the repairman told us it couldn't be fixed for a week, needless to say we left town and didn't come back until it was fixed.  Then last week was spent preparing for my daughter's 6th birthday party.  I did some crafting for that but can't post until my CWC cartridge showcase coming up soon:-).  Anyway, onto the challenge this week.  The design team and I have come up with some really great projects using buttons and brads.  I absolutely love to use buttons on my scrapbook pages so I knew this would be an easy one for me.
This is a page from my daughter's party last weekend.  I used Art Philosophy to cut out the banner on top and Sweet Treats for the 6 and the party hat.  All the paper is from the DCWV Celebration pack.  I also used the current DCWV sketch for my layout.
Thanks for stopping by!  If you want to play along, hop on over to Cooking With Cricut and link up your project.
