I used Cricut Lyrical Letters for the title and flowers on this layout. I stamped around my journaling box and for the border around the pink with my Market Street Stamps Simply Stitched Border stamps. I cut out the brown with my scalloped edge punch and tore the little green piece with flowers on it for added dimension. I got this layout idea from the page maps book, a gift from my friend Nancy for my birthday. I love this book! It has helped me so much in my scrapbooking.
I Wanna Do it Myself Layout
As Mom's most of us go through that stage with our kids as toddlers when they want to do everything themselves! When my daughter was 2 we went through this stage. I found these photos in my stash and was just going to do a simple layout with the photos. Luckily I have been keeping a family blog for the last few years. I went through it and found this entry about how at this time Ava, my daughter, was very much into her independence. I was so happy to have that entry so it would make my layout complete!

This is an adorable layout!
ReplyDeleteLove this--I don't think I ever out-grew this stage! This is such a fun layout, and the momories will just become more precious as time goes on. There's a little something for you on my blog...enjoy! karelj at http://karelj.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteSo cute. Look how little she is in those pictures!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was little, my parents called MY stage a "ME DO!" stage. Somehow, I never outgrew it either -- a can-do, ME-do woman, I am.
