CWC Challenge #95 Buttons & Brads

Hi everyone!  Welcome to another Cooking with Cricut Challenge!  I cannot BELIEVE it has been so long since I last posted!!  It's been a little crazy around here since my last posting.  I spent a week on heaven the lake with my Mom at her house only to come home to NO air conditioning!! That week we had two record hot days over 100 and the repairman told us it couldn't be fixed for a week, needless to say we left town and didn't come back until it was fixed.  Then last week was spent preparing for my daughter's 6th birthday party.  I did some crafting for that but can't post until my CWC cartridge showcase coming up soon:-).  Anyway, onto the challenge this week.  The design team and I have come up with some really great projects using buttons and brads.  I absolutely love to use buttons on my scrapbook pages so I knew this would be an easy one for me.
This is a page from my daughter's party last weekend.  I used Art Philosophy to cut out the banner on top and Sweet Treats for the 6 and the party hat.  All the paper is from the DCWV Celebration pack.  I also used the current DCWV sketch for my layout.
Thanks for stopping by!  If you want to play along, hop on over to Cooking With Cricut and link up your project.

  2. Jessica,
This is such a wonderful LO. The bright color papers you used are just perfect! They just seem to be a carry over of your daughters outfit, (which I think is fabulous). I love the design of your LO and the way you used the buttons. Happy Birthday to such a cute little girl!

  5. Hi Jessica
Thanks for dropping by the blog. You've done a fab job with the page with all the co-ordinating colours and patterns. That's one skill I have yet to master.
