Since we are nearing Thanksgiving time here in the US I'd like to mention a few things that I am thankful for. First and foremost, my family. They are what drive everything I do on a daily basis and I am thankful for them. My husband is the love of my life and my kids are just so much fun. I am thankful for my friends, especially all my Mom friends. I love to be able to connect with women who go through the same daily struggles I do. I am also thankful for this wonderful crafting community we have out here. I just love being able to go to other blogs or facebook and get inspired every day. It is so fun! This week my daughter had to bring in a photo of something she was thankful for to preschool. At first she wanted to bring in a photo of her friends which I thought was so sweet. Then she changed her mind and decided to bring in a photo of Jesus instead. She inspires me every day and I am thankful for Him as well.
On to my project...I decided to make a calendar page for November. Each month I make a different one and hang it up on my fridge in the kitchen. It keeps us as a family organized and I love popping it in my scrapbook when I'm done with it. This way when I (finally) get around to scrapbooking that month I can remember when everything happened!

This is a wonderful idea. I did this my freshman year in college over 20 years ago and I am so thankful that I did, because I am going to be scrapping some old photos and I have the reminder of what I did and when.
I also did this for the first year of my son's birthday over 20 years ago. I have his photos in the old style albums and that is going to be a project to make a scrapbook for him and I have all his "firsts" during his first year of life.
This would be great to do now as we have events coming up and get togethers, great reminders!
