CWC Blogaversary Week Day 3, Use Pink and Flowers, Satin, or Fabric

Welcome to the Cooking With Cricut Blogaversary Week, Day 3!  This week the design team along with myself, are creating a different themed project each day.  Today's project is to use the color Pink along with one of the following, flowers, satin or fabric.  I have chosen lots of pink and more flowers from the Art Philosophy cartridge.
I used a Stampin UP paper pack for the background strips and the large flower was cut from the Art Philosophy cartridge, once in pink and once in black.  I then stamped the Images on it using the Just For You stamp set from Close to My Heart.  The sentiment is from a stamp set in the Art Philosophy package.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Don't forget about all the fabulous prizes to be won over at Cooking with Cricut.  If you want to play along with this weeks pink challenge, link up your creation at Cooking with Cricut!

Cooking with Cricut Blogaversary Blog Hop

Hi all!  Welcome to Day 1 of the Cooking with Cricut Anniversary Blog Hop! The hop this week kicks off a week long celebration for the 2 year blogaversary of Cooking with Cricut!  Our Design teams have come up with some amazing projects focusing on the theme of the second year anniversary which is cloth, crystal, or glass.
We think you will be blown away by all this inspiration and interpretation of our designers! Be sure to come back tomorrow to see what else they have all come up with.
Each day this week the design team and I will be bringing you fabulous projects and we will be giving away free vintage graphics, digital printables and/or electronic cutting files! You will want to me sure you stop by the CWC blog (http://www.cookingwithcricut.com) daily to see what we have up our sleeve!
You should have arrived here from Suzanne's blog, the Cricut Craftin Grammy, if not and you want to start at the begining head on over to the CWC blog  (http://www.cookingwithcricut.com) and start at the beginning.

So in honor of our theme this week I got out my fabric paper (going with the cloth theme)
I decided to cover a wooden frame and frame a photo of me and my girlfriends for my good friends birthday.  I LOVE this paper!  I cut it with my regular fiskar cutter and it adhered so nicely to the frame as the back of it is sticky.
I used Art Philosophy for all my Cricut cuts on here.  The frame I designed with Art Philosphy and the Cricut Craft Room software to make sure it fit precisely with what I needed for this project.
The flowers were so easy to make!  This was my first time making them from this cartridge and they were a breeze!  I used some darker pink ink to do the shading around the outside.  The letters are from my favorite alphabet stamp set from Close to My Heart called Typewriter Keys, it's very similar to the Token alphabet available now at CTMH.

There are several prizes to be won so be sure to head over and join in the fun at CWC
(http://www.cookingwithcricut.com). There is a "cloth, crystal, or glass" challenge you can enter to win as well as other super blog candy just for being a follower and commenting so don't miss out!

Thanks for stopping by! You're next stop is Janet over at My Cards for You.

April Calendar Page

I have been doing some mad crafting these last few days trying to finish up all my projects so I can prepare for my sons 3rd birthday party next week.  This includes catching up on Project life and putting together a few scrapbook pages.  My Imagine has been working overtime!  Here is one thing I did, my April Calendar page (finally, right?)  With spring break and Easter this kind of slipped away from me.  Better late than never!

I used my Imagine to print the background paper, using the Imagine More cartridge.  I then used the Designers Calendar to print the grids along with the "April" title.  April was filled in with a pattern from the Imagine More cartridge using Cricut Craft Room.  I also cut out the banner using the Close to my Heart Art Philosophy cartridge and filling it in with a patter from Imagine More as well.  I LOVE that I can do that and have all my paper to coordinate so well!

My April filled in with the Imagine More pattern.  The ribbon was from the last Stampin UP Salebration catalog.

This is a CTMH stamp that came with my Art Philosophy kit.  We celebrate 2 birthdays (my husband and son) in April and of course, Easter so I wanted to mark that on my page.  The flower and button are also CTMH.
Thanks for stopping by, tomorrow I will post a recent Project Life page layout I did.
