I decided to use some pre-made pages I had from Stampin UP for these two.  I love that Stampin UP lets you download .png files as well as for their software so that you can use in photoshop as well.
Here they are together as I'll put them in my album.

Owl Christmas Card

Hi all!  Today is my post for the Pins to Creation design team.  This year for my Christmas cards I actually ordered them online (gasp!)  I  know, I cannot believe I did not make them myself!  For the last few years I have handmade all my cards (usually around 60) and sent them out.  This year I just could not find the time to do that and decided to make them.  Well I still had a few people I wanted to send out handmade cards to and also to say thank you to some wonderful friends and family for getting me gifts for my birthday (which by the way is today:-)).
I found this awfully cute owl card on pinterest a while ago and since I had all the tools to make it decided to make a few to say Merry Christmas and Thank you!

 I made two just for fun.  I love this little owl, I didn't add arms to the below card and actually wish I would have, oh well, next time!  I also really love the woodgrain embossing folder from Stampin UP!  It comes out so clean when run through my big shot.  The trick is to put a piece of vellum paper in with the other paper and then it won't emboss too much where the paper rips.  Cool trick I learned! I also punched out an ornament instead of a heart.  I am really happy with how they came out.

Project Life Softball Pages

This morning I was able to get a little scrapbooking done.  We actually didn't have anything going on until the afternoon and the kids were playing so nicely so I thought I'd sneak in a little time in my scrapbooking room.  A few hours later and I had done a bunch of project life pages and then worked on these pages from Ava's softball this summer.  She participated in softball for the first time over the summer and had a blast!

I used the Teresa Collins Sports Edition II stamps for everything but the title on these pages.  I love this stamps for anything sports related.  The colors I used were Stampin UP Marina Mist and Regal Rose, along with some gray for the strip on the page and Stampin UP Whisper White to stamp on.

 Each of these 12x12 pages were next to a Project Life page in my album.  I love how it all coordinates!

CWC Blogaversary Week Day 3, Use Pink and Flowers, Satin, or Fabric

Welcome to the Cooking With Cricut Blogaversary Week, Day 3!  This week the design team along with myself, are creating a different themed project each day.  Today's project is to use the color Pink along with one of the following, flowers, satin or fabric.  I have chosen lots of pink and more flowers from the Art Philosophy cartridge.

I used a Stampin UP paper pack for the background strips and the large flower was cut from the Art Philosophy cartridge, once in pink and once in black.  I then stamped the Images on it using the Just For You stamp set from Close to My Heart.  The sentiment is from a stamp set in the Art Philosophy package.

Love Card

These last few weeks have been especially crazy!  One of the best things about them though was that my husband and I celebrated our 9 year anniversary.  It is amazing to me how much I love him still and how he is the person I want to spend all my time with, along with our 2 wonderful children.  Our relationship has grown and changed over the past 9 years and I am so thankful to God for blessing me with him!  In honor of this anniversary I wanted to make him a special card.  Here is what I came up with:

I used the heart stamps and the Love stamp from the Celebration stamp set from Close to My Heart and the paper and ribbon are all from Stampin UP!  The red is Stampin UP! Riding Hood Red which I love!

On another note, we lost my husbands dear Grandmother this past week and spent a lot of our time driving back to Michigan to attend her funeral.  She lived a long, long life, living until 104!  Isn't that amazing?  She also didn't move into an assisted living facility until she turned 100, living all that time on her own in her own house.   She was such a strong women and I was blessed to know her.

Happy Mother's Day Card

Here is a Mother's Day card I made using another MOJO Monday design. I love getting the design and trying to put my own take on it. It's so funny how the card always starts out so boring to me and when I get done I usually end up really liking it. Hope everyone has a great Mother's Day weekend!

Mother's Day card for Mojo Monday Challenge

Okay, so I know today is Saturday and Monday was...yikes 6 days ago. Anyway, here is my take on the MOJO monday challenge they posted. I wanted to incorporate a few of Stampin UP!'s new colors in my card and also make it applicable to Mother's Day since it's right around the corner.

Pick a Petal cards

The Pick a Petal stamp set is one of my favorite from Stampin UP! I needed to make a few cards this week for a Baptism and a Birthday. These were two that I came up with after a design I saw and fell in love with on a Stampin UP! site, I just tweeked the design to what I wanted.

Ink: Stampin UP! Basic Black
