Hi all! Today is my first day as Guest Designer for Peachy Keen Stamps and I am SO EXCITED! I am so honored to be chosen as one of the guest designers for the year. I absolutely LOVE Peachy Keen Stamps as I am sure that most of you do too! I also love the fact that they are made right here in the midwest not too far from where I am outside of Chicago. It's always good to support product that is made in the USA!
Anyway, let's get on with my first project. So last week I was out with a friend at a local mall and I literally gasped (!) when I saw the Christmas decorations and Christmas trees in the windows of Macy's. Didn't we just end summer? Is it technically even Fall yet? I couldn't believe what I was seeing! So as I started thinking of what I wanted to make for this week I thought all I would make would be Fall themed project to keep with the season BUT I just got the CUTEST little elves stamps (Lauri and Skip) from Peachy Keen Stamps and thought I HAD to use them in a project! I hope all of you aren't too shocked to see a few Christmas projects from me this week as I was to see the Christmas trees at Macy's. I just couldn't resist doing something with these! The photo is one of my adorable children from a few years ago. I love how this scrapbook page came out:-)
Supplies Used:
Paper: All the paper used is Stampin UP!, Old Olive, Real Red, and a retired Christmas DSP
Ink: Stampin UP! Real Red for shading around the ornaments
Cricut Lyrical Letters for the wording
I colored the cute little Elves with my Copics
In honor of my week at Peachy Keen Stamps, PKS has generously donated the Make a Monster Face Assortment set as a giveaway.
All you have to do to be entered to win this set is to comment on this post and also pop on over to to the PKS blog, http://peachykeenstamps.blogspot.com/, and make a comment as well. I will be posting every day this week and the more you comment, the more chances you have to enter! This set is perfect for all those fun Halloween projects. I just might have a project coming up using this very set soon:-) Take care and thanks soooo much for visiting me!
