More Disney Autograph Books

Well it's been 5 days since we've been back from Disney and I think I've finally recovered!  Ha, ha!  Before we left for Disney I actually had someone request me to make autograph books for her kids after seeing my post on the books I made for my nieces, click here to check it out.  I was so excited to have a paying order for something I made!  I wanted to make sure everything was perfect so she and I emailed back and forth on what she wanted and here is what we came up with.

This one was for her son.  I cut out the goofy image from the Cricut Mickey and Friends, using my Imagine to print out the colors, and the frame I think is from Mickey and Friends as well.  The words Easton are from the Cricut Mickey Font cartridge.  All the background papers are from my stash.  The book was bound using my Cinch.

 Here is the inside. I put 40 pages in there to be sure they had enough room for autographs and photos:)

 This was for her little girl.  All paper was printed using my Imagine and the Cricut Imagine Teresa Collins Baby Boutique Cartridge.  Princess Aurora was cut from the Disney Princess Happily Ever After cartridge and the colors were printed using my Imagine.  Here daughters name was cut using Mickey and Friends again.

Disney Autograph Books

Hi all!  I have been busy up in my craft room making gifts for all my family members for Christmas. I tried to make as many gifts this year as I could instead of buying gifts.  I really love getting homemade gifts from the heart and I hope my family members too:-).

Here is an example of something I made using my new Cricut Imagine. I am seriously in love with this machine.  I just love the possibilities with it and I love using Cricut Craft room (an online design tool).  I also just loaded the Imagine app onto my gypsy for designing when I'm away from my craft room.  It's just so much fun!  I have also been buying up carts like crazy on ebay for around 10.00 a piece.  One I just received was Baby Boutique.  At first I glanced right over this one thinking I wouldn't need to do any baby pages since my babies are a little older now but once I saw it was Teresa Collins and I saw all the awesome papers I was sold!  I used this one primarily for these books:

The frames and paper were cut using the Imagine Baby Boutique cartridge, along with the crowns.  I used Mickey Font for the words along with the Mickey Mouse ears (filling in the colors from the Baby Boutique patterns).  Sleeping Beauty was cut using the Disney Happily Ever After cartridge, I also filled in her colors on my Imagine based on the Disney "official" RGB codes.  How cool is that?  I used my cinch to bind them.

 Here is how it looked when I pulled the mat out of the Imagine I just stuck in a white piece of paper and all the colors were done for me:)

 Modge Podge is my friend when I make these books, don't want the paper to come off for anything and they need to be able to withstand a lot of hand holding by little ones. Notice my other two autograph books in the background? I was getting the photos around from our last trip to put in those for my son and daughter. :-)

Here is the front of my nieces book, she is only 2 so I chose a Mickey head for her.

 This is the back, I just love this paper from the Baby Boutique cartridge and the modge podge made it look even pinker!

Disney/Pixar Blog Hop Day 2

I love this hop!  It's definetly one of my favorite hops to be in and to look through as I love Disney!  We just got back from a trip to Disneyland (AWESOME) last month and I have over 350 photos from it, this is AFTER I went through them all and got rid of the ones I didn't want!  I have a lot of scrapbooking to do!  Anyway for my project today I am going to show you the two autograph books I made for my kids to take to Disney.
Here is my Daughter's book.  Belle is one of her favorite princesses so I thought I would put her on the cover.
I kept the design super simple and she absolutely loved it!  I plan to add the photo into the books once I get them printed:-).

 Here is a close up of Belle.  It's so hard to get these princesses all put together sometimes.  I added some ink around the outside of her hair for dimension and some chalking on her cheeks.  The font is from the Mickey Font cartridge.  I modge podged the cover, back cover, and inside cover to make sure everything stayed put.

 This is my son's book.  He absolutely loves Cars so I put Lightning McQueen on the front for him from the Cars Cartridge.  I added the little road from some paper I had and used the Mickey Font again for the Autograph book title.  He loved his book too!

We had a blast in Disneyland and hopefully for the next hop (hint, hint:-)) I will get some photos of some scrapbook pages I made from it:-)

Throwback Thursday

Today Emma over at My Creative Time released her latest Throwback Thursday challenge. The challenge was to make a "shape" card and use some orange in the card. Since I have a special birthday coming up this weekend for a little four year old princess I thought it would be fun to use my newest cart, Disney Happily Ever After, and create a real princess birthday card using my gypsy.
