Disney/Pixar Blog Hop Day 2

If you are looking for Day 1 of the Cooking With Cricut Blogaversary Blog Hop, click here.

Welcome to the Disney/Pixar Blog hop! I am so excited to be here again in blogland with all my friends doing another Disney hop!  I LOVE all things Disney!!  This past year we went twice, once to Disneyland and once to Disneyworld, so I have been gradually getting all the photos scrapped.  Hopefully you have arrived here from Jenny's Scrapbooking Haven, if not and you want to go back to the begining of the hop and start over, you can start at Shawn at Crafty Chics.
My project for today is a two page layout I did from our trip to Disneyland.  For my Disney album I have been trying to make the pages as easy as I can keeping with the same theme for all of them.  My theme colors are yellow, black, and red and I am also trying to keep the stamp sets uniform too, keeping with stars, banners, and crowns along with my new favorite alphabet stamp set, CTMH Typewriter Keys.
I'm not doing too many Cricut cuts as I am trying to do the album quickly but for this page I thought a few cute Mickey's would add a lot to this.
I love this cute little Mickey below. I'd never cut him out before but my son said we had to have him so here he is.  Sometimes I get a little intimidated by these cuts but these two were super easy!
Love this Mickey lounging.
Love this alphabet set from CTMH, it punches out perfect letters!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Don't forget about the fun giveaway for the Scrap'N Easel-Ette! I have an original Scrap'N Easel and I LOVE it!! I used it to make this layout.
Your next stop is my fellow CWC design team member, Jenny at Crazy About Cricut.

2011 July Calendar Page

Hi everyone!!  I know I haven't shared in a while but summer has just really gotten the best of me lately!  I have been having so much fun with the kids and just kind of taking a break from everything.  Anyway, I wanted to show off this cool calendar page I made for July.  If you have been following my blog then you know that I keep one of these on the fridge each month and decorate it according to whatever is going on.  I really love red, white, and blue and this stamp set from Stampin UP! I got last year called July Fourth.  It is perfect for all  my fourth of July layouts!  I even made my own firecracker out of ribbon.  I love how it came out!

Supplies Used:
Stamps: Stampin UP! July Fourth
Paper: Stampin UP! Real Red, Not quite Navy, Whisper White, and Crumb Cake
Ink: Stampin UP! Real Red, Not Quite Navy and Versamark
Ribbon is just ribbon I had in my bins, along with a button I got from Joann
Cricut Cartridge Designer Calendar and the Star Punches from Stampin UP!

I've decided to enter this into the linking party over at You Had me At Craft:-)

So Very Sweet

Hi Everyone! Today I worked on a scrapbook layout and I incorporated two different challenges while doing it. The latest Peachy Keen Challenge was to create a project based on their sketch and make it monochromatic using shades of one color along with black or white as needed. I chose shades of orange as the color has meaning for the photos I am scrapbooking. I also used stars as required by the latest Music Monday challenge on Erin's blog. For that challenge we are to create something using space elements and I chose stars. I had a lot of fun on this one as I incorporated my stamps, punches, and my cricut! I also included a banner which seems to be the HOT thing right now in scrapbooking and cardmaking as I am seeing it everywhere!
