Disney 8x8 Scrapbook

Hi all!  Here are a few photos of some pages I made for the 8x8 Disney scrapbook I made for my in-laws.

I made these pages quick and easy:-)  Here is my Minnie page of my daughter and all her Disney "gear" waiting for the bus to come get us!

CWC Challenge National Card and Letter Writing Month

Welcome to another Cooking with Cricut challenge!  This week our challenge is to create a card for someone or feature a scrapbook page with a letter.  I decided to use a letter that I am putting at the end of my scrapbook that I just made for Mother and Father in-law.  We recently went on a trip to Disney World thanks to them and I thought the least I could do was make a small album filled with memories.

For my letter and envelope I used patterns from the Teresa Collins Imagine Black and White cartridge.  I started with Cricut Craft Room, created an envelope from the Sweethearts cartridge filled it with the polka dot pattern,  then took a rectangle from Mickey Font, re-sized it to what I needed and filled it with the note pattern.  I also cut a Mickey head from the Mickey Font to glue to the top.

Project Life Layout from March

As I mentioned yesterday I have been doing a lot up in my craft room trying to finish projects up so that I can work on my sons birthday party stuff.  Part of that has been catching up on the last few weeks of my Project Life album.  I printed out over 100 photos from the last two weeks and really wanted to get them scrapbooked and documented while it was all fresh. The day to day photos I am still documenting the Project Life way and when I have more photos, say for a big even like an Easter egg hunt or a birthday party I am doing 12x12 scrapbook layouts still. Here is an example of one of the Project Life layouts I did for March.  It came out cute and I love all the "little" things I am recording in my album this year!

This is one page of the week.  I printed out the journaling cards from Imagine using my Imagine More cartridge.  I used Cricut Craft Room to size them so they fit into the slots in my album and I changed some of the colors to go with my color scheme for that week. 

 My other page, I had a few large 4x6 squares that needed dressing up so I did a banner and some balloons in one.  I love how this came out!

CHA

Hi Everyone!  I want to do a quick post on all the fun things I did at CHA this year and to show you all what I got while I was there:-).
This year the consumer part of CHA was done a bit differently.  It was actually combined with the Fashion and Jewelry show which made it so confusing for us crafters to figure out if there actually was a show.  My friend Nancy and I had so much fun last year and this year we were back and forth on if we were even going to go this year.  At the last minute we did decide to go on Friday and of course we were glad we did in the end but were disappointed in the lack of vendors. However, that did not stop me from getting a huge haul of craft goodies!  I am going to show them all to you here:-).

Thursday of the show I went to meet up with some other crafters, including Jess from Kinderstampo and Sarah from Pink Cricut.  Here is a photo of everyone.  It was fun to meet all of them.  (I am the one holding my son)

 Here I am with Tim Holtz, oh and my son Carter again.  I ended up going into the other part of CHA that day with Carter and just carrying him around as I oohed and aahed at all the booths.  My favorite was DCWV and there upside down Christmas tree with paper ornaments!

The next day Nancy and I went on our own (sans Kids).  Here are some of the Cuttlebug folders I got.

 Here is a book I "won" from Kinderstampo.  Jess and Sarah did a drawing for all the girls that came out to see them and I won this beautiful book!  She also gave everyone a cute Halloween tag.

Finally, Here is a very quick card I made with my new stamps. This was for a boy's graduation and I wanted to make it more masculine.  I haven't had much time to play with them yet... Need to get in my craft room soon!
